What is INSOMNIA?
INSOMNIA is a safe and fun all-night community event that builds and strengthens friendships for students in middle school and high school in the Las Vegas Valley. A pre-party with live music and crazy games kicks off the night. From there, the party continues as middle school and high school students travel around the Valley to some of Vegas’ BEST student attractions.
WHAT’S THE COST/DATE/TIME/LOCATION?
The price of INSOMNIA is $89. Insomnia is an all-night event, that begins Saturday night (November 9) and continues until Sunday morning (November 10).

The event begins and ends at Central Church - Henderson (1001 New Beginnings Dr., Henderson NV 89011).

A special Pre-Insomnia Rally for Central Youth begins at 5PM, with Registration opening at 6PM. The Insomnia Pre-Party kicks off at 7PM, with students visiting their first attractions beginning at 8PM.

AS A PARENT/GUARDIAN, HOW CAN I LEARN MORE INFORMATION ABOUT THIS EVENT?
On Thursday, October 24th at 6:30PM there will be an INSOMNIA PARENT MEETING at Central Church - Henderson (1001 New Beginnings Dr., Henderson, NV 89011). At this meeting, we will discuss the INSOMNIA event details and have time for Q&A. This meeting is optional for parents.
WHAT SAFETY PROTOCOLS ARE IN PLACE?
The safety of your child is our main focus. All activities throughout the night will be fully supervised. A group of fully committed staff members and dozens of adult and parent volunteers from the church will be present at all venues. These adults have a vested interest in the safety of all students attending. All adult volunteers are required to pass a thorough background check process. Every Insomnia participant (students and leaders) will be given color-coded INSOMNIA t-shirts to be worn throughout the night for identification purposes. Additional security measures include bag check during registration process.
WHAT DOES MY $89 PAY FOR?
Insomnia partners with various businesses and organizations throughout the Las Vegas Valley to offer an unforgettable all-night experience at a fraction of the actual cost! The actual retail price for the Middle School experience is $200 and over $300 for the High School experience!

Your $89 covers the cost of coach bus transportation, an INSOMNIA t-shirt and the price of admission to various destinations throughout the night.
HOW DO I ENSURE MY STUDENT WILL BE ON THE SAME BUS AS THEIR FRIENDS?
Students are encouraged to register together and as soon as possible. Late registrations will have limited choices. During online registration, you will be able to select a bus number. If your student desires to be on the same bus as a friend, please make sure they communicate which bus their friend has or will select. Buses fill up on a first come, first served basis. Once that bus is filled you may choose another bus within the same site rotation (if available) to ensure your student will be with his or her friend throughout the night.

PLEASE NOTE: Due to the size and complexity of this event, buses cannot be switched after online registration is complete.
WHAT SHOULD MY CHILD BRING?
When packing for INSOMNIA, we encourage students to bring only what they may need for the night’s activities, such as snacks and drinks. Keep in mind that no belongings can be left on the buses while visiting venues. It is also important to bring any medicine that may be needed throughout the night, such as inhalers or other medications. Please notify a leader at check-in if your student has routine or emergency medication. Due to the nature of the activities throughout the night, it is important that all students wear socks and close-toed shoes. Students may bring their cell phones; however we are not liable for any broken/lost property that students bring to the event. Food will be available for purchase at the various locations throughout the night.
WHAT HAPPENS IF MY STUDENT GETS HURT/INJURED AT THIS EVENT?
All locations will include trained on-site coordinators that will assess and handle all injuries. EMTS will be stationed at different locations throughout the night.

In case of injury, the site coordinator will contact the parent/guardian of the student as well as seek further medical attention if needed. Each site coordinator will have the emergency contact information provided at registration.
WILL MY STUDENT BE GIVEN ENERGY DRINKS THROUGHOUT THE NIGHT?
Though some students do come to INSOMNIA with energy drinks, the INSOMNIA team will not provide them. Water, soda and other drinks (including energy drinks) may be available for purchase at the venues throughout the night.
AS A PARENT, HOW CAN I GET INVOLVED WITH INSOMNIA?
We are always in need of extra helping hands! If you are interested in assisting with check-in or at one of our venues during the night, please click the “PARENT VOLUNTEER” tab.
CAN MY CHILD COME FOR JUST A PORTION OF THE NIGHT?
Due to safety concerns and the complexity of the event, students cannot be picked-up at any of our all-night venues. If your student registers for this event, please understand it is an all-night event. For the safety of our students we cannot have parents coming to pick their child up in the middle of the night.
WHAT WILL HAPPEN IN THE EVENT OF INCLEMENT WEATHER?
The safety of our students and leaders is the TOP priority in all decisions throughout the INSOMNIA event. The INSOMNIA team reserves the right to make any and all decisions concerning cancellation of this event due to inclement weather or any other issues that could arise whereby the safety of the students is in question. We will make our best effort to provide your child with an outstanding experience including all of the advertised activities. If for any reason the activities must be cancelled due to inclement weather or other conditions, there will be no refunds.
